Tony Brown, Director of Business Systems, will take you on a tour of their Austell, GA facility and share with you their experiences as they searched for, and implemented, a new ERP system, including the results they are now seeing. The bus will leave on Monday May 8th at 9:00 and will return for lunch around 12:00 pm.

This Intermediate level course is designed for users that are new to IntelliPlex and want to begin building basic reports from data in Plex. This live hands-on session requires no prior experience with the IntelliPlex system. The session will provide participants with an overview of IntelliPlex navigation, security, and report building. During this course participants learn how to login and navigate in IntelliPlex; build basic reports including charts; build more complex reports by joining tables and utilizing drilldowns; and understand the purpose of a portal.

SQL in Plex
*This course was formerly titled SQL Basics in Plex.
This Introductory level course is designed for users that want to learn Structured Query Language (SQL) and how it can be leveraged in Plex. SQL is used to pull data from the tables of Plex and populate IntelliPlex or VisionPlex Reports. This hands-on session requires no prior understanding of SQL. A basic understanding of what IntelliPlex and VisionPlex reports is beneficial. During this course participants will learn Plex SQL nomenclature and best practices; learn how to construct a query and view the results; gain an understanding of the concept of a SPROC and the steps to create one; and complete simple exercises to gain competency in SQL syntax.

Workflow Design and Management
This Intermediate level course is designed for users that need to create or manage Workflows in Plex. This hands-on session requires no prior understanding of Workflows. This course is separated into two sessions. Session 1, in the morning, has a focus on Planning and Development as the participant builds a “Stand Alone” workflow. Session 2, in the afternoon, has a focus on Design and Testing as the participant builds an “Integrated” workflow that can be used with the Purchasing module. During this course, participants will learn planning stages for the design of a workflow; how to build a workflow to manage a process (new hire); how to test your workflow; how to integrate a workflow with existing Plex Modules; and strategies for testing and implementation.

HCM Employee Management
This Introductory level course is designed for current Plex users who want to understand basic employee setup and how it impacts other areas of the Human Capital Management (HCM) system in Plex. This hands-on session does not require any prior knowledge of the Plex HCM modules. The session will provide participants with an understanding of user setup, maintaining employee records, entering payroll and insurance data as well as additional functionality related to the initial setup of an employee. Overviews of other HCM modules, such as Time Off Tracking and Injury Tracking, are also included.
