Structured Query Language: SQL in Plex
SQL is used to pull data from the tables within Plex and populate IntelliPlex or VisionPlex Reports. This introductory level, hands-on session requires no prior understanding of SQL. During this course, participants will learn Plex SQL nomenclature and best practices, how to construct a query and view the results, gain an understanding of the concept of a SPROC and the steps to create one, and complete simple exercises to gain competency in SQL syntax. This course is taught in Plex Classic, however it is applicable for UX audiences as well.

Accounting Best Practices for Month-End Closing
This intermediate level, hands-on course will take participants through the accounting month-end closing process. This course will start with a basic review and demonstration of month-end balancing tools. It will provide a brief overview of AR, AP and GL recommendations and tools. The remainder of the course will focus on SCAR and Inventory month-end reconciliation. Through hands-on exercises, participants will explore inventory analysis, revaluations, and manufacturing variances using real-world customer examples. The course is taught using Plex UX, however Plex Classic customers are welcome to attend.

Electronic Data Interchange: EDI in Plex
This hands-on course will take attendees through the entire EDI process. Participants will complete the process of testing with a new trading partner including receiving the inbound file from the trading partner, loading the file, creating inventory and a shipment which then sends an ASN back to the trading partner. Participants will review the release loading process including how to interrupt release loading, how to process it within Plex, review of common errors, and how to correct the release loading. The course will conclude with a discussion on cumulative quantities: what they mean, how to read the files, what happens when a release loads, and how to process it. This course is taught in Plex Classic, however it is applicable for UX audiences as well.

IntelliPlex
This hands-on course is designed for users that are new to IntelliPlex and want to begin building basic reports using data in Plex. This session will provide participants with an overview of IntelliPlex navigation, security, and report building. During this course, participants learn how to log in and navigate IntelliPlex, build basic reports including charts, build more complex reports by joining tables and utilizing drilldowns, and understand the purpose of a portal. This course is taught in UX but is applicable for Plex Classic audiences as well.

Security Foundations

Workflow Design and Management
This hands-on session requires no prior understanding of Workflows. This course will start with the Planning and Development phase as the participants build a “Stand Alone” workflow. The course will then focus on Design and Testing as the participants build an “Integrated” workflow that can be used with the Purchasing module. During this course, participants will learn planning stages for the design of a workflow, how to build a workflow to manage a process (new hire), how to test your workflow, how to integrate a workflow with existing Plex Modules, and strategies for testing and implementation. This hands-on course requires a basic understanding of Plex and documents associated with Problem Control.
